Product Overview:
CoCrW 6 cobalt based cast rods (AWS A5.21:2001 ERCoCr-A) are a cobalt-chromium-tungsten alloy widely considered for hardfacing and overlay welding applications. The alloy's composition, with moderate levels of carbon and tungsten, is designed to provide a combination of good toughness and machinability. It is engineered to maintain a set of performance characteristics, including corrosion resistance, high-temperature stability, impact resistance, and resistance to galling (adhesive wear), across a broad operating temperature range up to approximately 800°C.
